At the end of December, Kibooba village became home for 600 new chicks.
At the end of December, Kibooba village became home for 600 new chicks. Over the last month and a half, we lost about 30 of them to illness but the rest are reported to be energetic and in good health. Our partnership with AMIGOS has been a great success so far; issues are being addressed locally as they arise which is a significant step toward our goal of sustainability.

On Thursday, February 5th, Alpha Secondary School in Burnaby will be hosting an evening talent show. We are thrilled that they have decided to donate 100% of the proceeds to Friends of Kibooba. For more information, read the

Friends of Kibooba has become a member of Foundation Search; an organization that will provide us with access to potential funding bodies in Canada and beyond. We are in the process of putting together a grant application to seek funding for our projects.
