Friends of Kibooba is starting fresh.
Friends of Kibooba is starting fresh. After our recent set backs in the village, we decided it was a good opportunity to look at expanding and tackling the issues with a renewed vitality! We have established a new partnership with AMIGOS to renew the chicken business at the end of 2008. In Canada, we have established a new board of Trustees: we welcome Brian Reikie, Dale Delahunt and Paxton Bach. We are currently seeking re-designation as a Charitable Organization. Additionally, we are in the process of establishing working groups to work with Kibooba on the issues of: income generations, food security, water security, health and hygiene, education AND working groups to work with FOK on: communications and fund-raising. It is a state of positive transition and we are excited moving forward with our new team....
