Our friends Pheobe and Brian spent the summer in Kibooba
Our friends Pheobe and Brian spent the summer in Kibooba working with the village. Phoebe is a teacher and her skills were put to good use in the school. Brian and Joel got busy working on the income generating projects. The chicken house was plumbed and prepped and 400 new feathered friends moved in. They built a small dispensary onto the school where we eventually hope to have regular visits by the local health worker for all of the children. Thanks to a donor from our Canadian east coast, we were able to purchase and distribute mosquito nets to the whole village! Thank you so much to everyone for their hard work. It was a very productive summer.
