What progress we have made in the last few months!
What progress we have made in the last few months! In addition to joining Shop and Support in December, we were accepted into "Givemeaning.com" and "CanadaHelps" in January 2008. Both of these sites allow people to donate directly on-line with all proceeds going to Kibooba. Brian Breikie has agreed to become our fearless fund-raising leader. He has great plans for a concert, curling and art-inspired events in the near future...so stay tuned. We have also teamed up with the invincible Michelle Simpson Fiddler of Westcoast SpecialTeas and her project Empower Africa. Michelle has taken on fund-raising for Kibooba school and will be hosting a big fund-raising event on March 9. Matt, our fantastic engineering friend and his fabulous industrial design fiancee, Jen, have taken on water-supply in Kibooba and are working with Joel to assess the situation and seek support for a sustainable solutions.
